How Stacey Brewer Successfully Raised R300 Million For SPARK Schools

Stacey Brewer together with co-founder, Ryan Harrison, founded SPARK Schools, a network of private schools offering affordable, globally competitive education, in 2012. They successfully received over R300 million through angel investors and impact funds to start SPARK Schools. In applying for the funding, Brewer says they had to build a business plan and financial model along with a pitch deck to attract capital into the business.

"Most of our time was spent meeting with potential investors and pitching," she said.
